Dr. Kangning Cui is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan). Before joining the university, he was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Wake Forest University. He has also served as a Robert J. Plemmons Fellow and an Andrew Sabin Family Center Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics and his B.Sc. in Computing Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science, from City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include computer vision, large language models, efficient and trustworthy AI, and their applications in remote sensing and healthcare.
