Abstract
We demonstrate a novel multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser by using a dual-pass fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer as a comb filter. Simultaneous lasing of nine wavelengths is obtained by cooling the erbium-doped fiber to 77 K.
