摘要
The coupled thermo-mechanical finite element analysis of equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) presented, to study the temperature rise and deformation behavior, was discussed. The effects of pressing speed, pressing temperature, workpiece material and die geometry on the temperature rise and flow during ECAP were also investigated. It was found that the two-dimensional plane strain and heat transfer model were used with the workpiece dimensions in the finite element model. The simulation results show that die geometry, material property, pressing speed and pressing temperature had strong influence on the temperature rise and flow behavior.
