abstract = "Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, KTiOPO4 or KTP, is an excellent nonlinear optical material. Besides its well known bulk crystal nonlinear optic applications like second harmonic generation in Nd:YAG laser, its large electro-optic coefficient, low dielectric constant, and high optical damage threshold make this material attractive for realizing various electro-optic devices such as modulators and switches. This paper will review the recent developments of optical waveguides and devices fabricated in KTP using the ion exchange process.",
