摘要

With the popularity of BYOD (Bring your own device to work), IoT (Internet of Things), mobile payments and Smart City, mobile service gains its popularity rapidly in recent years. In some scenarios, mobile service attacks caused by authentication processes may become national crisis that can lead to an enormous financial loss. Hence how to successfully authenticate a legitimate user with convenience and security considerations still remains to be a crucial research topic on mobile platforms. In this paper, using mobile payments as a specific case, we introduce a new authentication system, i.e. National Authentication System (NAS), based on national regulations for mobile devices. With NAS, we are able to provide a more secure authentication and protection method using identifications and sensitive information isolation. As a consequence of the national regulation enforcement, privacy guidelines can be established and enforced by the government or trusted organizations as well. As a result, NAS on mobile devices is introduced as a new and practical solution for mobile authentication with reliable security, convenient deployment and social collaborations.
