摘要

Rejuvenation was achieved in brittle (La50Ce50)65Co25Al10 bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) by compressing a notched sample. The rejuvenated sample shows low hardness (reduced by 7%), high relaxation enthalpy (increased by 44%) compared with those of as-cast sample. Most importantly, our results show that, in terms of percentage increase in relaxation enthalpy per strain, the rejuvenation ability of La-based BMG is higher than that of Zr-based BMG under plastic deformation. Our findings demonstrated the powerful rejuvenation ability for triaxial compression once again.
