摘要

How to achieve superior performance through outsourcing activities is a critical issue for multinational corporations (MNCs). The paper "Alignment organizational control practices with competitive outsourcing performance" increases our understanding of how control mechanisms can be aligned with outsourcing strategies to achieve superior outsourcing outcomes. This commentary addresses the theoretical contributions made by this paper, as well as important practical implications, empirical limitations, and meaningful extensions of the study.
