摘要

A series of Pr-rich Pr-Cu-Al alloys was prepared by arc melting. The onset and offset melting temperatures (T_m and T_l), corresponding to the solidus and liquidus temperature of the phase diagram, were determined by differential scanning calorimetry. A ternary eutectic alloy is found at the composition of Pr₆₈Cu₂₅Al₇ (at.%) with eutectic temperature at around 705 K. The ternary eutectic point was also confirmed by scanning electron microscopy observation and X-ray diffraction analysis.
